Responsibilities
The Medical Staffing Coordinator works as the liaison to the Credentialing Administration as well as with the Practice Management Director to coordinate new Physician credentialing.
Essential Function:
- Responsible for facilitating and completing credentialing applications for both initial and re-credentialing for all licensed providers.
- Responsible for informing all necessary stakeholders regarding physician credentialing status.
- Responsible for partnering with hospital credentialing departments to ensure that provider privileges are maintained.
- Point of contact to facilitate the interview, credentialing, and hospital application processes for new physician and APC candidates
- Attend Physician Recruitment meetings with Medical Director(s), Practice Development, and PS&D to discuss new candidates for virtual/in-person interviews
- Responsible for scheduling the interviews with candidates, hiring team, and site manager/physicians, sending calendar invites, update the tracker, order lunch/dinner for in-person interviews
- Compile onboarding documentation and audit Credentialing packets to submit for Committee approval
- Compose New Hire Orientation schedules, itineraries, and calendar invites for incoming providers
- Organize professional photo sessions with a photographer to use for Marketing and badges
