job summary: Our client, a well-respected property management company located in Tampa, is currently in search for an Accounting Supervisor on a direct hire basis. This newly created position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. This includes the supervising and training of accounting staff in addition to providing support to the Director of Client Accounting. Additionally, the Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for providing full cycle accounting services to approximately 100 community development clients. This will include the preparation, review, and approval of monthly financial statements and applicable annual audit engagements in a timely manner based on established deadlines. Essential Functions Supervise a team of accounting staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and feedback. Support process improvement initiatives of the Client Accounting division.
