tuesday, may 23, 2023 — mental well-being

Purpose statement: Examine the impact mental well-being has on our workforce and how we can effect change to make it a priority.

Productive employees need and expect healthy workplaces, which requires taking on the real work of culture change. It’s simply not enough to offer the latest apps or employ euphemisms like “well-being” or “mental fitness.” Employers must connect what they say to what they actually do.

wednesday, may 24, 2023 — people with disabilities

Purpose statement: Create an acute awareness of people with disabilities in the workplace and how to empower them to ensure greater visibility and a sense of belonging.

The work of inclusion isn’t inviting disabled people to do more. They’re living full lives, blazing paths in their careers. The work is making a difference in the environments that we invite them into. We can design our physical environments, events, websites, and even our language in ways that make it easier for people with disabilities to live their lives and reach their potential.

thursday, may 25, 2023 — veterans

Purpose statement: Strategically tap into the talent-rich military community to better reintegrate veterans into the workforce.

American businesses have made tremendous strides over the last five years as they work to recruit veterans into their workforce. Veterans are now ranked as a top three recruiting target for companies, underscoring the commitment to and investment in veterans being made by American businesses.
