At Randstad, we believe all students interested in STEM careers should have equal opportunities to pursue them today. That’s why we created the Randstad riseUp scholarship — an achievement-based scholarship program for college students in STEM-related majors — in partnership with Scholarship America. Our goal is to help bridge the representation gap in the STEM workforce and amplify the impact these students can have in their schools and communities, as well.

what is scholarship america?

Scholarship America has a simple goal: to create a world where equity is central, respect and inclusion are cornerstones of culture and every student has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Working with students, parents, colleges, businesses, communities and more, the organization has distributed over $4.5 billion in funding and supported more than 2.8 million students to date.

Scholarship America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and manages the donations to the Randstad Technologies, LLC Scholarship Fund and the Randstad RiseUp Scholarship.

qualifications

To be eligible for the Randstad riseUP scholarship, you must be:

a U.S. citizen
a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior (first, second or third year) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
currently pursuing or planning to pursue a four-year degree in a STEM-related major, including but not limited to:
- aerospace engineering
- computer engineering
- computer science
- electrical engineering
- industrial engineering
- mechanical engineering
- physics
