Randstad announces that its Supervisory Board will propose changes in the Executive Board. Linda Galipeau will step down from the Executive Board effective the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 26, 2019 to pursue her career outside Randstad. Rebecca Henderson and Karen Fichuk are nominated for appointment as members of the Executive Board with responsibilities for Global Businesses and Randstad North America respectively.
Linda Galipeau joined Randstad in 1995 as a district manager in the USA. In 1997, she started the Canadian operations and in 2008 she was appointed President of Randstad staffing in the USA. Appointed to the Executive Board in 2012, she is responsible for the US, Canada, Randstad Sourceright, Monster and RiseSmart.
CEO Jacques van den Broek: “We regret that Linda has decided to leave Randstad. She leaves North America in great shape, it is Randstad’s biggest region with above group level average returns. Besides that Linda has played an instrumental role in our innovation journey the last four years leading to our Tech & Touch-strategy. Randstad owes Linda a great debt of gratitude.”

Linda Galipeau’s decision allows Randstad to reorganize the portfolio to match the strategic direction. Rebecca Henderson, currently CEO of Randstad Sourceright will join the Executive Board with the responsibility for Global Businesses which include Randstad Sourceright, Monster and RiseSmart and Global Client Solutions. Rebecca Henderson brings over 25 years of strategic client experience in both technology and HR services. She has spent her time at Randstad developing market-leading solutions in Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Managed Services Programs globally delivering added value to our enterprise clients. As a result of this change, Randstad will accelerate its total talent models and strategic services for global enterprise customers.
Karen Fichuk will join Randstad and is nominated for appointment to the Executive Board and will become CEO of the North American business. Karen Fichuk is an American national with over 25 years of experience as a commercial and functional leader at The Nielsen Company. Most recently she was President Developed Markets and Strategic Initiatives responsible for North America, Western Europe and Australia/New Zealand. Karen has a strong track record of leading organizations where performance, client centricity and people development are the key pillars. Karen’s expertise around data, analytics and technology will help drive the digital transformation, a very important pillar of Randstad’s overall strategy going forward.
The new Executive Board of Randstad N.V. will consist of six members. The proposed two nominations will be subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 26, 2019.
