pre-hire screening

comprehensive orientation

Randstad operates from a Safety First mindset, starting with comprehensive onboarding for all talent, covering safe workplace behavior, client safety rules, proper dress code, personal protective equipment, restricted jobs, reporting procedures, and training videos for any relevant equipment, such as forklifts.
worksite evaluations

Safety may start with onboarding, but it doesn't end there. Regular workplace inspections help prevent incidents, injuries and illnesses. Randstad’s consultants conduct regular safety audits and work with supervisors to help to identify and correct hazards.

Randstad's Safety Coach program is recognized by ASA and the National Safety Council, and is designed to alleviate the burden on your supervisors and your bottom line by promoting high-performing talent who can help monitor, reinforce, and model the behavior that keeps your workers safe. Randstad is a proud recipient of the Safety Standard of Excellence Mark (SSE) developed by the American Staffing Association (ASA) and the National Safety Council to promote industry-wide safety best practices. By participating in the SSE program, staffing companies, their temporary workers, and host employers can build a mutually beneficial relationship to help identify and mitigate workplace hazards and exposures, ensure clear communication between the staffing firm and host employer, and clearly delineate the safety responsibilities of each party — all intended to reduce injuries, illnesses and fatalities for both temporary, contract and client employers.
