To be eligible for the program, participants must meet the following criteria:

age and citizenship

  • 18 years or older
  • legally able to work in the U.S.

education

  • high school diploma, GED/TASC or educational equivalent
  • rising college juniors or seniors
  • higher education

other considerations

  • second-chance opportunities
  • youth aging out of foster care
  • survivors of homelessness, domestic violence, exploitation and human trafficking
  • individuals with other career-opportunity barriers

Crystal Yarbrough

director of community impact

As the Director of Community Impact, Crystal works to develop and implement external and internal relationships with community and corporate entities as it relates to our community impact programs.

In this role, she is also responsible for developing and providing career-readiness training to help underserved and at-risk women, cultivating new initiatives and strategies, and reducing the barriers/obstacles by increasing opportunities through upskilling apprentices. Crystal holds a master's in human resource management from Troy State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University with a concentration in human services. Crystal also serves as a representative for Randstad on the Alliance for Freedom, Restoration and Justice Freedom Council and has served as the chair and vice-chair person of the American Staffing Association Social Responsibility Committee.

Jennifer Dial

Jennifer Dial joined the Hire Hope program in April of 2017. She started as an apprentice supporting various Randstad clients in the role of a recruiting coordinator.

Upon completing the program, she transitioned into her new position as the team lead for the program. As the team lead, she is responsible for educating and training the apprentices to have workplace etiquette and knowledge of systems, including applicant tracking systems, communication procedures and organizational best practices.

Jennifer is a powerful force who drives team performance. She uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to grow into their potential and work hard towards their dreams. Jennifer knows that the coaching support instilled in the program’s mission sets women up with the tools needed to succeed in corporate America.

Jennifer is inspired daily by the group of women she supports as well as her husband and their daughter. In her free time, Jennifer loves to spend time with her animals and family.

Allston Kendall

Allston Kendall is an Atlanta native who attended Clemson University and received both a bachelor's and a master's degree in English. She went on to work for various companies providing international human resources consulting, IT software sales and marketing, sourcing/procurement and Salesforce implementation services.

Over her career she has worked as a consultant, client account manager, business development director and project manager, supporting and working with hundreds of different clients across every industry, from Fortune 200 companies all the way down to small start-up organizations. She joined Randstad in 2017 on the Managed Service Provider (MSP) team, where she was responsible for a portfolio of national accounts as well as managing new client account implementations and five direct reports. During her tenure on the MSP team, she also developed process mapping for the MSP department and earned her OWOW Lean Yellow Belt certification.

In 2018 she briefly joined the Tatum team to help manage their migration to the Atlanta corporate IT platform and then transferred to the Inhouse Services division as a workforce consultant, assigned to a group of manufacturing and distribution clients in the Atlanta metro area. Since then her focus has been on supporting the onsite teams, providing clients with weekly performance metrics and identifying ways to optimize each site's business model to generate cost savings, drive retention and maximize recruiting. In June she earned her OWOW Lean Green Belt certification.

Allston has been an active member and leader in Randstad Toastmasters, the WIRED business group, and Hire Hope, which holds a special place in her heart. In her personal life she enjoys hiking, kayaking, spending time with family and friends and traveling around the world.
