overview

A Randstad Technologies or Randstad Engineering (collectively “RT”) Candidate [1] or a current Contractor (Contractors included individuals employed by RT as a W-2 employee, an RT Independent Contractor, or a Third-Party Vendor (“TPV”) employee on assignment through RT) who refers an opportunity to their RT Account Manager, Recruiter, or Solutions Delivery Director may be eligible for a bonus payment based on the requirements outlined below.

There are two types of opportunity referrals:

  • Job Opening Opportunity Referral, defined as a contract (temp) opening or a direct-hire (perm) opening with a client. The opening may be on the same team or another team.
  • Project Opportunity Referral, defined as an opportunity wherein a client may have a need for a Project, Managed Service, Outsourcing or Managed Resource Program (MRP) engagement.

[1] An RT Candidate is an individual with a candidate profile in RT’s CRM and resume on file.

job opening opportunity referral bonus and requirements

bonus

  • The referral bonus amount is $500.00 and may be considered taxable income depending on employment status.

requirements

  • RT must have no previous knowledge of the opportunity, such as, but not limited to, being informed of the opening by the Client Manager, Director, VP or receiving the opportunity through the client's vendor management system.
  • Job Opening Referrals must be passed to the talent’s Account Manager, Recruiter or Solutions Delivery Director via email to qualify.
  • If the contract (temp) opportunity is filled by RT, the bonus will be processed after the assignment has achieved a minimum of 480 billed hours (approximately 12 weeks). Assignments that do not reach 480 billed hours for any reason will not trigger a bonus payment obligation.
  • If the direct-hire opportunity is filled by RT, the bonus will be processed for payment after the placed talent has met the contractual guarantee period with the client and after payment has been received by Randstad from the client.
  • Job Opportunity Referral bonuses are only paid out one time per referred job opportunity (i.e., one job referral with multiple openings will only yield one bonus payment).
  • This referral program is eligible for ACAR referrals; meaning the referral can be for placement by another Randstad Line of Business.
  • Depending on employment classification/status and the dollar value of referral fees paid to an individual in a calendar year, referral fees may be considered taxable income. Questions regarding tax treatment of referral fees should be sent to: rtg-talentreferralprogram@randstadusa.com.
  • Contractors are not eligible to receive bonus payment for any jobs where they are part of the hiring selection process, including, but not limited to, involvement in interviews, resume screening, etc.
  • RT Solutions employees/talent (i.e., a consultant on a project, managed service or MRP) are eligible to receive bonus payment for any jobs that result in an assignment if they are not involved in the hiring selection process, unless the Solutions employee/talent is part of the Solutions Manager Bonus Program (i.e., bonus tied to growth, be it EBITA or GP).
  • RT clients and prospective clients and their employees are not eligible to receive bonus payment for referring a job opening, regardless if it is at their company or another company.
