- Prepare routine journal entries (revenue, cash, AR, operating expenses, fixed assets, AP and joint interest billings, accruals) to ensure proper recognition
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts
- Perform analytical review of balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP
- Support annual audits and quarterly reviews, providing documentation and explanations as required
- Performs other duties as required to support the Accounting Department with a high quality of work

qualifications:
