Randstad is currently assisting a Financial Service company in Las Vegas with a direct-hire search for a skilled Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the VP, Controller, this role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of accounting experience, exceptional analytical skills, and advanced Excel skills.
Hybrid work schedule, paying up to $90K plus a 10% bonus.

responsibilities:
- Execute month-end close procedures, including recording accruals and preparing journal entries for assets, liabilities, and expenses.
- Conduct daily reconciliations, including intercompany accounts and research variances.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and assist in forecasting and budget analysis.
- Financial Reporting, system implementation projects, variance analysis, and Lead on hoc projects.
- Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the preparation of financial statements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
qualifications:
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience and Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and collaboration with external auditors.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is strongly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
