responsibilities:
- Prepare and review a variety of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct tax planning and research for complex tax matters to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Provide guidance and review the work of junior staff and interns, fostering growth and development within the team.
- Engage in client meetings, providing tax advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
qualifications:
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience in tax, ideally with exposure to individual and entity tax returns.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred, and familiarity with Lacerte is a plus (training will be provided).
- CPA eligibility is required, and CPA licensure support is available if desired.
