Established and growing real estate investment/property management company located in downtown San Francisco is looking for a Accounts Payable Manager. Report to the Controller overseeing day-to-day AP operations. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Accounts Payable Team: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of accounts payable staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
- Invoice Processing: Oversee the review, coding, and approval of vendor invoices for payment. Ensure that invoices are processed in accordance with established policies and timelines.
- Payment Processing: Manage the preparation of bi-weekly payments, including check, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring that any issues related to payments, invoices, or disputes are resolved promptly.
- Month-End Closing: Ensure accurate AP ledger balances are maintained for month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform account reconciliations and provide monthly AP aging reports, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure that AP processes comply with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. Implement internal controls to minimize risk and improve the efficiency of the AP function.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve AP processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reduce the risk of errors.
- Dispute Resolution: Work closely with accounting, property management teams and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and other challenges.
