They are seeking a Sr. Property Accountant to join their growing team!

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Review the work of property accountants, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to property accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate balancing of accounts.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and provide resolutions.
- Collaborate with property management and accounting teams to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and update detailed workpapers to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Ensure all supporting documentation is organized, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Oversee the AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable industry regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance reporting as needed.
- Participate in system upgrades, implementations, or process improvements.
qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred but not required.
- Around 3 years of property accounting experience
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
