Randstad is looking for a Senior Accountant, Lead to manage key financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting audit processes. Additionally, the Senior Accountant, Lead will review and oversee the work of Staff Accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise and a keen ability to provide meaningful financial insights that drive informed decision-making. While direct supervisory experience is not required, the ability to review and guide financial processes is essential.

responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close processes and prepare financial statements.
- Supervise and allocate tasks to the team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Record and review adjusting journal entries, ensuring proper documentation.
- Develop schedules and perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Conduct quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cost Accounting (preferred experience).
- Analyze and report on Cash Flow to support financial planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of expenses to budgeted general ledger accounts.
- Manage and update vendor account information.
- Verify approvals and documentation for bill processing.
- Monitor open purchase orders and maintain accounts payable records.
- Record and reconcile daily bank deposits as needed.
- Maintain contract records by uploading and reviewing agreements in electronic databases.
- Track and follow up on contract deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and distribute tax documents for contractors.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong skills in financial analysis and audit support.
- Deep understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Hands-on position, provide training and leadership skills.
