Randstad is seeking for a Senior Accountant that will play a key role in overseeing daily financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, supports audits, and upholds compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. The position also oversees the work of other Staff Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling essential accounting functions and providing critical financial insights to support decision-making.

responsibilities:
Financial Operations:
- Oversee month-end closing activities and prepare financial statements.
- Record and review adjusting journal entries with appropriate documentation.
- Generate and distribute routine and ad hoc financial reports.
- Develop schedules and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
- Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cost Accounting (preferred experience)
- Cash Flow reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of expenses to budgeted general ledger accounts.
- Process and coordinate invoice reviews by external third parties.
- Serve as the point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries related to accounts payable.
- Maintain and update vendor account information.
- Verify approvals and documentation for bill processing.
- Process vendor payments and accounts payable checks with supporting documentation.
- Address open purchase orders and maintain accounts payable logs.
- Manage assigned accounts receivable collections.
- Record daily bank deposits and reconcile as needed.
- Handle customer onboarding by processing new customer forms.
- Maintain contract records by uploading and reviewing agreements in electronic databases.
- Follow up on contract deliverables as required.
- Prepare and distribute tax documents for contractors.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong skills in financial analysis and audit support.
- Deep understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency with financial software systems and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
