Working closely with several CPG companies here in the area looking for a strong AP Specialists to work closely with manager of Accounting. The individuals will have solid understanding of basic accounting, internal controls and accounts payable principles, and strong familiarity with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle and JD Edwards. This position is onsite 4 days a week.

responsibilities:
- Process both PO and non-PO invoices, as well as check requests, efficiently and within designated timelines.
- Ensure proper matching and coding of all vendor invoices in the Accounts Payable system to maximize early payment discounts.
- Reconcile vendor accounts, request adjustments as needed, and update the vendor master file accordingly.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly Accounts Payable closings.
- Provide necessary documentation and support for external audits.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Extensive knowledge about accounting and management principles and AP procedures
ERP familiarity including SAP, JD Edwards and Oracle
Proficiency with Excel.
Distribution , CPG and Retail experience preferred!
