Randstad, in partnership with an established manufacturing client in the St. Petersburg Area, is currently in search of an Accountant on a direct hire basis. If you have 4-6 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry this could be the right fit for you.

responsibilities:
- Perform month-end procedures.
- Review inventory transactions to ensure all costs are accurately captured.
- Review general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation.
- Perform weekly margin reporting and follow up on action items.
- Assist with documenting processes and SOPs for the accounting team.
- Supervise accounting staff.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Process mapping and validating accounting processes are creating the correct general ledger entries.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical accounting experience.
- 4-6 years of professional accounting experience required.
- Proficient in Excel - experience with vlookups and Pivot tables.
