Tatum by Randstad is partnering with a cutting-edge technology company who is expanding its presence globally with their search for a hands-on Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing day-to-day payroll, review of company's international payroll, year-end payroll reporting, and compliance activities for exempt, and non-exempt employees companywide.

- The pay range for this position is $55/hr. to $88/hr. based on experience

responsibilities:
- Preparation of payroll for US, and Canadian entities (250 employees) and review of International Entity payroll (125 employees)
- Manage all aspects of the payroll process, such as approving transactions and reviewing exemptions
- Translate company policies, tax and legislative requirements to ensure delivery of accurate and timely employee payments, reporting, compliance with applicable regulations, and internal controls; compiles reporting for earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages, etc.
- Responsible for year-end payroll related items (W2s, T4s)
- Assist with all payroll related compliance such as year-end statements, non-discrimination preparation, 5200 filing, and regular audits etc.
- Advises departments on payroll issues, policies and procedures
- Identify and recommend areas within payroll processes that can be improved via systems enhancements and automation
- Create monthly and annual payroll reports for management review
- Assist with employee payroll issues as needed
qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience within an international/multi-state environment required; 2 years of payroll management experience highly
- Experience working with ADP is desired, and experience with UKG, Workday or similar HRIS system experience highly desired
- Advanced Excel skills needed (Pivot Tables, VLookup's)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) Certification highly desired
- Experience/knowledge of international/multi-state payroll; knowledge of state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to payroll required
