Tatum by Randstad is actively seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations at our flooring company in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction or flooring industry and possess strong leadership and analytical skills. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate reporting of employee compensation and benefits.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial planning to optimize profitability.
- Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial advisors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
