We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL! This is an in-office position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing environment.

responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits
- Review and enhance accounting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Support tax and regulatory filings as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting
- Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to streamline reporting and reconciliations
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA eligibility preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or public accounting setting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
