responsibilities:
- Assess customer creditworthiness and release pending orders in coordination with Credit Manager.
- Conduct due diligence on customer accounts using bank/trade references, financial statements, and industry reports.
- Improve credit processes and automation by utilizing technology solutions, including system testing, documentation, and training.
- Proactively collect payments and resolve discrepancies on U.S. and Canadian accounts while maintaining low DSO levels.
- Develop reporting tools to improve credit processes using internal/external data.
- Support credit memo validations, cash receipt automation, and month-end/quarterly reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other teams to resolve account discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly trade activity schedule for credit management review and distribution.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address reporting, analysis, and Accounts Receivable issues.
qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years of experience in Credit and Collections
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in AR systems, credit functions, and reporting tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
