Tatum is recruiting for a newly created Project Manager role for one of its clients. This person will interact with numerous stakeholders across the company on operational and IT related initiatives. responsibilities:
An overview of the opportunity is below:
- Lead projects across the company that transform business process and promote standardization. And automate major work streams.
- Help establish and manage to various milestones leveraging various departments and maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Create and present on project status that includes major milestones, resource requirements, tollgate reviews and other scheduling goals.
- Monitors all project activities to ensure deliverables are met and schedule and cost plans are followed.
- Evaluates projects for risk management and overall business impact; makes recommendations accordingly based on analysis.
- Work with stakeholders from various parts of the organization for prioritization and assignment of duties for specific projects.
- Monitor vendor performance for compliance purposes and ensure overall SLA standards are being met.
- Support PMO's overall efforts around process improvement throughout the organization.
- Project Manager will be responsible for overall project administration which includes planning, implementation, coordination and final closure of projects.
- Post project analysis to determine overall impact and success of initiative with presentation of findings.
qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Distinct and proven project management experience, PMP preferred.
- International experience preferred-prefer projects that impact multiple countries.
- Business application and/or ERP experience strongly preferred-experience implementing, SAP, Oracle or similar applications are examples.
- Proven ability to build successful relationships with different groups in an organization; strong communication skills-verbal and written.
- Budget management-need experience managing successful projects within budget constraints.
- Accountability-need to have experience driving projects through multiple departments and completing on time.
- Must be a local candidate to Houston, Texas.
