A growing wholesaler based in Watertown is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team! Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers the opportunity to take charge of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, making a direct impact on the company's financial operations. responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Handle Accounts Payable entry and reconciliation.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely wholesale invoice preparation, collaborating with ?other teams as needed.
- Generate weekly reports for past-due Accounts Receivable and follow up with customers for collections.
- Ensure revenue, cost of sales, and expenses are recorded.
- Assist with payroll processing, monthly close, and reporting..
- Proactively assist with process improvements.
- Provide support to Finance and HR departments as needed.
qualifications:
- BS degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of accounting experience with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
