responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Reconcile gross payroll and tax entries to the general ledger
- Support HR functions related to benefits administration in collaboration with our insurance provider
- Manage weekly disbursements and oversee accounts payable
- Post daily incoming payments and handle accounts receivable
- Perform general ledger account reviews and reconciliations
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
- Ensure prompt payment to key vendors and suppliers
- Handle wire transfers as necessary
- Assist with establishing customer financing through third parties
- Maintain and assess customer credit records
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new clients
- Make regular AR collection calls to follow up on outstanding balances
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct reviews for obsolete stock
- Act as the liaison with external auditors
- Help coordinate services like insurance policies, 401(k) plans, and benefit providers
- Evaluate and compare service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on budgeting and financial planning efforts
- Communicate with customer contacts at various organizational levels as needed
- Conduct research projects at the request of local leadership or parent companies
- Maintain and support general ledger accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and additional reporting as required
- Generate reports for company stakeholders
- Calculate and distribute monthly sales commission payments
- Support the administration of the company's computer systems
- Review and verify product landed cost calculations
- Provide updated pricing for services, including platforms like Smart Equip
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
