As Controller, you'll work hand-in-hand with the CEO and play a vital role in shaping the company's financial future. You'll oversee all financial operations-ensuring precision in reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving strategic financial initiatives. Your scope will include managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and benefits administration, while partnering with senior leadership to fuel long-term growth.
This role will be onsite 5 days a week.

responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure strategic alignment and fiscal health.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Analyze financial performance to identify trends, mitigate risks, and uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Manage cost accounting functions for spring and stamping production, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Partner with division leadership to develop and track KPIs that support corporate financial objectives and drive performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local/international financial regulations.
- Oversee the invoicing and collections process, ensuring timely revenue recognition and accurate customer account reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements while optimizing cash flow.
- Administer employee benefits programs-health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks-ensuring timely enrollments and regulatory compliance.
- Process weekly payroll accurately, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with labor laws.
- Provide actionable financial insights to guide decisions on capital investments, pricing strategies, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with corporate finance teams on audits, tax filings, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and long-term financial stability.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
- 5+ years in financial management, including 3+ years in manufacturing.
- Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience managing finances for business units of $10M+.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
- Effective leader and communicator; collaborates well across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of international finance and compliance is a plus.
