The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the execution of project milestones based on customer briefs within aligned timelines. The candidate leads in the coordination of customer meetings in collaboration with sales, marketing and R&D technical teams. The R&D Project Manager is the Single Point of Contact for Sales communication to and from R&D. This is a direct hire position and can start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to Sr. Director of R & D North America, he/she will be accountable for the following:
- Be the Single Point of Contact for Sales communication to and from R&D
- Be the key customer contact for R&D projects on a project management perspective (not responsible of technical matters). Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers and develop relationships with new ones.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and milestones to communicate with R&D staff and sales managers on the status of project tasks.
- Define project plans and track project milestones while reporting on R&D project status with sales and R&D from brief reception to product launch.
- Participate in cross-functional teams as needed to improve customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate project meetings with R&D team (formulation, packaging and regulatory) to discuss status of each milestone and assist with resolving any project related issues. Inform R&D teams of any changes in project status.
- Align on prioritization and timely resolution of customer queries with Sales and R&D team. Propose a prioritization plan from R&D perspective.
- Write meetings reports if needed.
- Create development timelines with R&D team (formulation, packaging and regulatory) and provide to Sales team.
- Maintain accuracy of project status in BUBBLE and other written communications.
- Responsible of planning tasks
- Manage R&D developments tools. Create, maintain and report key R&D metrics.
- Manage quotation of R&D services and provide costing to sales, monitor response and receipt Purchase Order.
- Check and analyze accuracy of R&D tasks regarding quotation and PO validated. Align with Sales and R&D team (formulation, packaging and regulatory) before invoicing.
- Coordinate with Sales and Manage invoicing of R&D services: work with Finance to ask for invoicing, check and validate once done.
- Coordinate with technical transfer teams post final formula and packaging validation to insure success from product development to commercialization.
- Ensure regular and efficient communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Help to create SOPs. Develop, respect and propose continuous improvement on SOPs.
- Connect and align with others R&D Project Managers within the group to ensure global continuity and participate and follow trainings as required.
qualifications:
SKILLS / REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related technical degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in managing multiple projects from concept to commercialization.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Stage Gate, Dashboard, BUBBLE, etc. highly preferred.
- Project Management certification (i.e. CAPM, PMP) is a plus
- Experience working in a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or contract manufacturing company is a plus.
- Must have proven experience leading change and taking project responsibility.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and effective listening skills.
- Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects/customers with competing deadlines.
- Must be able to analyze data and have operational understanding to identify, prevent, and solve problems and make decisions in a timely manner.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and take on multiple projects at one time
