The Life Sciences Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of dissolvable thin films and transdermal patches, from initial concept development to commercial success. The role involves ensuring our products meet market needs, align with partner expectations, and achieve sales and profit goals. Key responsibilities include marketing existing products, launching new products, and developing pricing strategies. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, the ability to define target markets, and a clear value proposition. This position is also focused on expanding markets and identifying new customer segments. By executing business development campaigns, the role will generate leads that drive sales for the Company. Key performance indicators include sales revenue, lead generation, conversion, and operating profit.

- Work with customers and internal teams to develop design inputs for new projects.
- Organize and manage customer data to enhance business efficiency.
- Provide accurate forecasts and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor key metrics to achieve or exceed revenue goals and take corrective actions as needed.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize product value and company revenue.
- Negotiate contracts and supply agreements to ensure clear expectations and protect company interests.
- Contribute to business planning by creating market strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profit objectives.
- Communicate business status and results effectively across divisions.
- Uphold professionalism, adhere to company values, and foster a lean culture in all aspects of the role.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline; MBA preferred.
- Experience with FDA-regulated businesses and compliance with FDA 21 CFR 211 regulations, as well as familiarity with pre-clinical and clinical therapeutic development stages.
- Knowledge of DEA regulations for handling controlled substances (e.g., Schedules II-V) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Product Management, or Commercial Operations, preferably in pharmaceutical or drug delivery industries with experience in transdermal and thin-film applications.
- Strong market analysis skills and ability to formulate and implement strategies.
- Excellent networking, relationship-building, and customer management skills.
- Experience negotiating joint venture partnerships and customer agreements/contracts.
- Ability to work 100% onsite.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in new product and process development.
- Proficiency in standard desktop software applications.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15%, including international travel.
