responsibilities:
Responsible for chemical testing of final product and intermediate products.
- Duties include performing QC assays and maintaining lab organization and cleanliness.
- Has knowledge of wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis including pH, conductivity, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, atomic absorption, Karl Fischer, and Osmolality.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Other duties as assigned
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) in Chemistry or related subject.
- Relevant QC experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Experienced with simple instruments (pH, conductivity, TOC, Osmolality) and wet chemistry experience.
- Experienced with and comfortable with handling chemicals and following established safety practices.
- Experienced with or minimally aware of pharmacopoeia such as USP-NF, EP, JP, ChP.
- Knowledgeable with cGMP testing.
