responsibilities:
Responsible for chemical evaluation of raw materials
- Duties include performing QC assays and maintaining laboratory organization/cleanliness.
- Has knowledge of a wide variety of wet chemistry
- (TLC, ID testing, Bulk Gas Testing, Manual (Acid-Base, Complexiometric, Redox) Titrations, Common Gravimetric Tests (Insoluble Matter, Loss on Drying, Residue on
Ignition), Limit Test, Heavy Metals, Arsenic, Specific Gravity, Potentiometric Titrations) and instrumentation analysis (pH, Conductivity, UV-Vis, Viscosity, Flame Atomic Absorption, Melting Point, Specific Rotation, Karl Fischer, FTIR, Osmolality, and TOC.)

- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) in Chemistry or related subject.
- Relevant QC experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Experienced with simple instruments (pH, conductivity, TOC, Osmolality) and wet chemistry experience.
- Experienced with and comfortable with handling chemicals and following established safety practices.
- Experienced with or minimally aware of pharmacopoeia such as USP-NF, EP, JP, ChP.
- Knowledgeable with cGMP testing.
