responsibilities:
- This is an on-site position which will entail primarily laboratory-based work. Specific responsibilities include independently planning and performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and communicating results in team meetings. Assay development and routine screening of early-stage drug development candidates may be required.
qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 4 years of relevant scientific experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant scientific experience
- A strong skillset of standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism)
- Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work in teams to achieve changing project goals and meet timelines
