The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis, interpretation and communication of results, and support the Analytical team, R&D colleagues, and various functions within the business. The candidate should also possess good problem-solving skills and show strong leadership and influencing capabilities in making project/business decisions. The candidate would need to be self-motivated and able to work independently in the role.

responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of analytical testing using modern instrumentation and wet chemical techniques
- Participate on project and cross functional teams as a SME for product and ingredient analysis
- Compile, interpret, and communicate test results clearly, timely, and effectively to customers and project stakeholders
- Follow proper laboratory GLP protocols, lab safety, and general lab cleanliness and maintenance
qualifications:
- Minimum of B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science, or allied field (preferred)
- 2 to 3 years' experience in analytical laboratory or related science lab environment
- Working knowledge of GC/MS, HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR and ICP is desired
- Strong skills in GC/MS as it applies to flavors and fragrance analysis is desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
