responsibilities:
-This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
-Conduct routine testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and environmental samples using approved methods and various instrumentation, (e.g., VITEK MS, Microscope, Gram Staining, Autoclave, etc.) while adhering to cGMP and established policy
-Generate valid data at expected levels of productivity while adhering to cGMP
-Interpret validity of own test data and generate accurate results
-Advise immediate supervisor or designee of all important aspects of testing including deviations
-Evaluate data generated by others in the analytical group
-Accurately document data and review official laboratory documents (e.g., SOP's, Technical reports, Methods, and specifications)
-Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
-Assist in training other laboratory personnel on methods, instrumentation, and computer systems
-Maintain appropriate documentation of training activities
-Participate in interdepartmental project teams or committees
-Understand data integration and calculation of results
-Demonstrated opportunities for continued career growth driven by individual ambition
qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology or Science with 1+ year of pharmaceutical experience
-We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
-General experience providing QC testing support
-Understanding of Microbiology laboratory practices and testing
-Raw Material, MLT and Product Testing
-Experience in using Microscopes, Laminar Flow hood and general aseptic technique
-Experience with Environmental Monitoring and Compressed Gas and Utility Testing using SAS, Mattson Garvin Sampler, or similar testing equipment
-Collecting samples (air, swab, surface) from varies locations in production area
-Gowning, plate reading, performing water analysis
-Full understanding of the requirements and application of GMP principles in a laboratory environment
-Good verbal and written communication on an individual and group basis targeted to appropriate audiences of several levels within GMS
-This capture of applicable transfers of value is necessary to ensure company compliance to all federal and state US Transparency requirements
