responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Scientist to be part of a team focused on non-viral gene therapy formulation in the Genomic Medicine Unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in targeted non-viral formulation development and optimization for several different projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development of customized non-viral formulations.
Apply scientific expertise and judgement to initiate, design and execute experiments in a time-sensitive manner. - Maintain accurate experiment records and material inventory.
- Analyze and present experiment data clearly and effectively.
- Acts as an impactful contributor of project teams and transverse initiatives.
- Foster creativity, productivity, execution with a sense of urgency, scientific integrity and accountability. Maintains a collaborative culture.
qualifications:
- PhD or Master's plus minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with a strong background in nanoparticle-based formulation development & analytical characterization.
- Hands-on experience in nucleic acid drug formulation and development (especially
nanoparticle delivery technologies) is required. - Results-oriented, with a track record of significant contribution to research projects and peer-reviewed publications.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, interpret, and present experimental results.
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced industry and work environment.
- Experience in preparing high quality documents including technical reports, presentations, SOPs, experimental protocols, and regulatory filings.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Nanoparticle-based formulation development & analytical characterization.
- Open to new grad PHD level, in lab/ academic experience
- Research projects and peer-reviewed publications.
- Manager is open to Biotech, Pharma, and Academic experience (Must display 3 years of applicable experience)
