This person will be responsible for all work orders assigned to him/her by the group Lead. While the Director and Lead provide oversight, the work is scheduled and processed by the Chemist so that production deadlines are met, and quality is instilled in the product.

responsibilities:
- Transfer, pipetting, and weighing
- Epoxy mixing and pouring
- Logging radionuclide and activities used in Microsoft D365
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of production labs and facilities
- Gamma camera scanning (Medical Group)Communication with other groups within the company to ensure timely product manufacture
qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelors or AA degree in a related field.
- Minimum 6 months related experience working in a lab (college coursework or internal experience is accepted)
- Experience in handling standard laboratory equipment such as pipettors, balances, mixers, and ovens.
- Experience working with containment apparatus such as hoods and gloveboxes is a plus.
- Excellent manual dexterity and a steady hand are essential.
- Must be safety-oriented, neat, and clean.
- Possess sound judgment and decision-making ability.
- Although the chemist will report to the Director and Lead, much of the work will be unsupervised and they will be responsible for their own orders.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Must be able to work overtime if necessary.
