responsibilities:
- Development Supply Chain (DSC) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of products, process knowledge and technology solutions to enable Company's accelerated product commercialization. As part of the Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MCS) Team, DSC also supports the creation and maintenance of all BOMs. As part of a global initiative, this role aims to support the development of SMART BOMs and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) standardization. This role ensures that all updates are performed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and protocols. In addition, this function will work closely with various departments to coordinate update schedules and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Plan, schedule, and execute updates to the MES through SAP, including SMART BOMs and standardization components.
- Responsible for driving BOMs revision and resource loading requirements
- Monitor and verify the success of updates, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly post-update.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during or after updates.
- Maintain detailed records of update activities, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
- Provide training and support to staff on new features or changes resulting from updates.
- Participate in steering meetings and act as a liaison.
qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree OR Master's degree and 3 years of Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing experience OR Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing experience OR 10 years of Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing experience
- Proven experience in managing and executing system updates.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with update management tools and software.
- Experience in a similar role within the supply chain industry.
- Knowledge of specific software or systems used by the company.
