responsibilities:
- Conduct MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review of promotional materials to ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Represent medical affairs in the MLR review process.
- Review promotional content for accuracy, efficacy, and safety in accordance with policies and guidelines.
- Support medical initiatives, including MSL activities, medical education, digital communications, and conference preparations.
- Provide medical input on both branded and unbranded content.
- Conduct competitive reviews and publication analyses as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute projects effectively.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned projects.
- Attend co-lab meetings (9 AM - 3 PM EST) and contribute to discussions.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Advanced Scientific Degree (PhD, PharmD, PA, or NP)
- 3+ years of ad/promo medical review experience
- Company Medical Review experience (Veeva promo mat and med-com)
- Strong understanding of MLR processes and compliance
- Scientific understanding of clinical trial data and patient treatment journey
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to review promotional materials for accuracy, efficacy, and safety
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing priorities
- Psychiatry/CNS experience
- Previous experience at Abbott or AbbVie (familiarity with expectations and systems)
- Experience in medical affairs and understanding of its functions
- Experience with competitive reviews and publication analyses
- Project management skills for leading medical initiatives
- Ability to support MSL activities, medical education, and digital communications
