Lab-based position, will help process PBMCs and FFPE tissues for scRNAseq and fixed RNA profiling workflows, scRNAseq library preparation and QC.

responsibilities:
- Execute high-throughput scRNAseq library preparations by working effectively on a team and leveraging the use of automated liquid handlers (e.g. Biomek i7).
- Operate Illumina sequencers and other lab instrumentation for quality control of NGS Libraries (e.g., Tapestation).
- Accurately document project and sample information, protocols, and experimental details through the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
- Conduct experiments, troubleshoot, and optimize protocols independently and in collaboration with colleagues to deliver high-quality data in a timely fashion.
- Interpret findings and communicate effectively to present scientific data, concepts, and recommendations to various internal audiences.
- Interface with computational biologists and data scientists to generate and interpret scRNAseq datasets.
- Work in Company's matrixed environment and support activities for different groups across the organization, which may include alignment meetings.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Experience with scRNAseq workflows (10x Genomics preferred), including library preparation and QC
- Handling PBMCs, primary cells, and/or tissues
- Background in biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related fields
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction, nucleic acid QC)
- Ability to document experimental details accurately using Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)
- Experience with nuclei isolation from PBMCs and/or tissues
- Familiarity with 10X Genomics platforms (scRNAseq, Fixed RNA profiling, scATACseq)
- Experience with automated liquid handlers (e.g., Biomek i7 or Tecan Fluent)
- Background in R programming
- Knowledge of immunology
