responsibilities:
- Perform routine environmental monitoring (EM) in GMP classified areas, including:
- Viable air sampling
- Non-viable air sampling
- Surface sampling
- Settling plate analysis
- Prepare EM samples for laboratory analysis, including endotoxin and bioburden testing.
- Participate in laboratory investigations related to EM deviations and excursions.
- Accurately enter and manage EM data in GMP systems (LIMS/LES, Veeva, SAP/ERP).
- Complete all required SOP and hands-on training related to EM procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all EM activities.
- Work with a high degree of urgency and accuracy due to the commitment to the FDA.
qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of direct experience performing environmental monitoring in GMP environment
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific field
- Experience with viable air, non-viable air, surface sampling, and settling plate analysis
- Experience with data entry and management in GMP systems (LIMS/LES, Veeva, SAP/ERP)
- Experience with endotoxin and bioburden testing
- Experience with laboratory investigations related to EM deviations
- Advanced knowledge of microbiological testing techniques
