We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Equipment and Utilities to support GMP manufacturing operations by ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of building systems, utilities, and manufacturing equipment. This role involves 70% desk-based responsibilities and 30% vendor management, requiring a strong technical background and the ability to oversee third-party maintenance activities effectively. This is a 6-month contract 100% on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
Availability for rotational after-hours emergency response.

responsibilities:
- Oversee utility and building maintenance programs, including inspections, repairs, and third-party vendor management, ensuring GMP compliance and equipment reliability.
- Lead or assist with facility and engineering projects, including equipment installations, HVAC upgrades, and compressed gas management, while supporting GMP investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
- Provide general facility support, participate in after-hours on-call rotation, and ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, USP, and ISPE guidelines.
qualifications:
- 5+ years of facility, utility, and equipment maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in HVAC maintenance programs and GMP compliance for facilities, utilities (mechanical, HVAC, electrical, gases), and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with CMMS software (Blue Mountain or equivalent).
