job summary:
This is an 18-month onsite contract role based in Thousand Oaks, CA, with potential for extension. The position supports Drug Product Quality Assurance by providing daily compliance oversight on the manufacturing floor. Key responsibilities include batch record review, SOP approvals, MES and Maximo system updates, and minor deviation/CAPA record approvals. The role requires a detail-oriented team player with quality experience and the ability to work across multiple shifts (morning, swing, or night). Candidates should have experience in GMP environments, quality systems, and documentation review, along with strong organizational and communication skills. A background in Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry is preferred.

responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Purposeful presence on the manufacturing floor, inc. Inspection support, ASP and QA assessments,
• Electronic batch record review,
• SOP revision approval,
• Maximo System - Work order, job plan approvals,
• Quality support and approval of minor deviations and CAPA records.
• MES revisions and approvals

Responsibilities will include evaluation of compliance issues, providing recommendations, and assuring progress of quality records to completion. The Sr. Associate will also represent functional area quality for the Drug Product Quality Assurance department in the execution of projects necessary to achieve departmental operational goals and will work in a team matrix environment.
