responsibilities:
- Perform operations necessary for calibration of equipment that may include testing, adjusting, and maintaining measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Perform highly supervised, routine calibrations of laboratory and/or production equipment, following SOPs and in accordance with relevant quality standards.
- Provide assistance to more senior technicians on daily tasks.
- Accurately follow oral and written procedures in calibrating basic measurement equipment, and performing testing procedures.
- Recognize deviations from the normal results.
- Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position at this level.
- Performs calibrations on all manufacturing and utility systems, Building Automation & Controls and PLC's.
- Operate, troubleshoot and repair complex utility systems which may include WFI, RODI, Clean Steam, CIP, Autoclaves, Glassware Washers, production vessels, HVAC, Cold/Warm Rooms, control systems, compressed gases, plant steam/condensate, bulk chemical distribution and waste water treatment
- Provide technical direction and responsive customer support
- May assist with facility start up projects in support of performing initial calibrations and commissioning activities, as required
- Complete and provide accurate documentation, as required in cGMP operations Reviews and closes all paper and electronic preventive and corrective records in accordance with all Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and EAM policies and procedures to ensure right first time.
- Respond to, assign and ensure completion of Emergency and High priority work requests.
- Ensure activities executed under their performance are compliant with all safe work practices and policies
qualifications:
Required
- A college degree along with completed courses in Metrology.
- 3-6 years' experience in Pharma
skills: Quality control, SOP, Biology, Chemistry, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
