responsibilities:
- Perform and verify routine to moderately complex analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and drug products following GMP guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical techniques and instrumentation issues independently.
- Accurately document test results and maintain clear, compliant laboratory records.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks and contribute to lab improvement initiatives.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely product testing and release.
- Support regulatory audit readiness and interface with agencies as needed during inspections.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Willingness to work 2nd shift and be onsite in North Chicago, IL
- Hands-on bench laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Solid documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing time and priorities effectively
- Education: BS or Associate degree in sciences (or coursework toward a BS) with 0-4 years of lab experience
- Experience in analytical chemical testing labs
- Familiarity with techniques such as LC, GC, Karl Fischer, titrations, and other wet chemistry methods
- Exposure to Empower, IR, ICP, dissolution, or LCMS/GCMS instrumentation
- Background in Quality Control or regulated laboratory environments\
