An Automation Technologist is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Richland, WA area. This role involves assisting engineering and automation teams by managing technical data, performing data quality checks, and supporting software lifecycle documentation and user assistance.

responsibilities:
- Support users by providing access or creating user accounts for software and applications supported by Engineering Automation.
- Perform routine data quality checks and support the EGS, Lead, and engineers in tracking information, locating documents, and document preparation.
- Prepare training presentations and documents.
- Assist in the preparation of change management documents under engineer supervision.
- Ensure work is performed on schedule with high-quality standards for nuclear facilities.
- Demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.
- Foster a work environment of openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
- Proficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data using relational databases.
- Ability to analyze data within technical documents, classify information, and ensure it is readily retrievable.
- Desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques.
- Effective communication skills with data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1 year or less of related experience.
