A Plant Project Engineer / Lead is needed for a utility holding company in the Brush, CO area. This role involves applying extensive technical expertise to lead complex engineering projects, develop innovative solutions, and act as the primary technical contact, while overseeing project activities and mentoring junior engineers.

responsibilities:
- Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to lead projects of varying size and complexity.
- Work autonomously, developing new or improved techniques, procedures, and standards.
- Develop technical documentation, including designs, testing, calculations, reports, and standards.
- Provide technical support for project activities in operations, maintenance, testing/diagnostics, and regulatory areas.
- Offer field engineering oversight for support, testing, installation, inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Lead or coordinate multiple project phases, such as research, design, equipment selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Serve as the prime technical contact in the bid/evaluation process, preparing bid documents, evaluating proposals, and making selection recommendations.
