Fortune 500 Manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire EHS Manager. This position is located near Oxford, North Carolina. The EHS Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs that comply with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
Salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $130K, plus an opportunity for a bonus, relocation, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
- Manage the complete EH&S programs for the facility in accordance with the ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards to minimize all EH&S risks and reduces potential liabilities
- Responsible for regulatory and company environmental, compliance activity, and facilitating the site Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard
- Work closely with the Plant Supervisors, Department Managers, and the employees to provide the proper training and guidance for compliance to all governmental regulations and facility policies as well as driving the company's environmental goals and objectives
