An Avionics Lead Technician is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. The Avionics Integration Supervisor/Engineer will oversee technicians and ensure the reliable installation, testing, and quality of avionics assemblies for spaceflight systems, emphasizing safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of avionic components and systems.
- Ensure operational reliability and adherence to design specifications.
- Read work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials and assembly sequence.
- Mount and install components such as PLCs, HMIs, and relays in panel enclosures.
- Fabricate wire harnesses by measuring, cutting, soldering, and crimping wires and contacts.
- Conduct detailed installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Inspect, test, and verify avionics assemblies against technical specifications.
- Experience with wire crimping, connector soldering, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365.
- Familiarity with avionics manufacturing and test equipment.
- strong communication skills and ability to work with industry standards.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five (5+) years of relevant industry experience.
- Technical training or industry certification preferred.
- 10-15 years in aerospace manufacturing, focusing on avionics or harness fabrication.
- Proven hands-on technical leadership and problem-solving abilities.
