An Quality Inspector is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. The Quality Inspector ensures compliance with quality standards through detailed inspections, certification reviews, and process audits to support timely production in a small-scale manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Ensure timely flow of products through inspection to meet deadlines.
- Inspect incoming materials for requirements conformance, review certifications, and issue reports in ERP system if needed.
- Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Review and approve certification packages for shipment in ERP system.
- Maintain organized, accurate electronic certification files in Quality Assurance.
- Assist lead inspector and department manager as needed.
- strong attention to detail and consistency in inspections.
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other common inspection tools.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
- Previous experience in a smaller production environment preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent - Required.
- Quality Inspection Experience (2 to 4 years) - Strongly Preferred.
