A seaside engineering firm is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to join its team on a contract to hire project near Exeter, NH. The contract length is expected to be 6 months before conversion to direct hire and a hybrid work schedule may be available after you ramp up.
As electrical engineer, you will lead the design of electrical power projects involving medium voltage circuits, protection and controls relays and programming and coordination. You will work with the more junior engineering staff and other engineering disciplines for projects and mentoring.
Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, at least 5 years experience in electrical power projects and a Professional Engineering license. You should understand the NEC and IEEE guidelines and have a thorough knowledge of generators, motors, and transformers. You should be familiar with ETAP or SKM software. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
