responsibilities:
- Manage engineering deliverables for modifications and new construction projects within the natural gas compression fleet.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers across disciplines, plant operations, maintenance staff, construction managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
- Plan, design, construct, and maintain natural gas compression stations and related facilities.
- Adapt responsibilities and reporting structure based on project needs.
- Demonstrate leadership, sound engineering judgment, and organizational skills, promoting safe work practices and compliance with standards.
- Oversee engineering tasks including design, planning, inspections, system specifications, environmental assessments, permitting, contracting, scheduling, cost estimation, data collection, construction oversight, and field investigations.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with government and company laws, standards, and procedures, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledgeable of the design, construction, or operation of Industrial facilities and/or gas compressor stations.
- Experience in procurement of engineered material, equipment, and professional services.
- Experience in coordinating and developing contract documents, specifically engineering drawings and technical specifications, for both consulting and construction services.
- Self-motivation, analytical, communication and interpersonal, leadership, organizational, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor of science in electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited program as set forth in the Engineers Council for Professional Development or
- 10 years of directly applicable I&C Electrical design work experience.
- Professional Engineering license preferred but not required.
