Mechanical Engineer for a growing manufacturer near Matthews, NC. This role is responsible to lead the engineering designs for new and existing custom products.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is ideal)
- Must have at least five (5) years experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience creating designs in 3D CAD
- Knowledge completing structural stress calculations

- Perform Design calculations
- Perform complex quotations that involve some structural calculation
- Maintain cost databae
- Identify and Implement cost reduction designs
- Identify and Implement cost reduction projects in JIT manufacturing environment
- Maintain current drawing files
- Design new products
