A leading client is seeking a First Article Quality Lead for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will oversee the First Article Inspection (FAI) process across all programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvements. strong experience with AS9102 forms, FMEA, and process auditing is required.

responsibilities:
- Generate AS9102 forms (15-350 characteristics) using Net Inspect.
- Verify build processes against AS9102C/S1002 for C919 Inlet, C919 Fan Cowl, and C919 IFS.
- Develop C919 product and process audits for inspection teams.
- Create and enter additional in-process inspection steps in SAP.
- Identify areas where defects may go undetected downstream in the build process.
- Address high RPN scores from FMEA.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on FMEA generation and review.
- Create action plans for RPN scores above 100 to drive improvement
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in an appropriate field (e.g., Engineering, Science, or Engineering Technology)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality leadership role.
- Net Inspect and/or Discus experience preferred.
- Composite experience is a plus
